Good common sense makes you stupider

Surface.....

We thought the world was flat and square, where we would fall off the edge if we travel too far. Who make us believe this? Common sense, where we are like an ant walking on a big ball, feeling that the ball is flat.

Go Deeper.....

We always secretly think that we won’t get old, that is why we get sad and complain so much when we discover a gray hair on our head. Who make us feel we will never get old? Common sense, you get common with your body. When it breaks down, you can’t mentally cope with it.

Deeper.....

We often complain when we lost our wallet, We often complain when we were involved in an accident, We often complain when we broke up with a lover. “Why it is me who is so bad luck to lose my wallet? I didn’t break any traffic rules why drag me into an accident? Why in the whole world I am the only one without a lover?” Common sense makes us complian.

Limits.....

Our lame common sense has its boundaries and limits which things becomes non-sense beyond the limits. The upper limit is the speed of light; where else the lower limit is the Planck constant.

Object accelerating near the speed of light, its mass become increasingly near infinity, so nothing can move at the speed of light, beside light itself. In this region you will also find black holes, big bangs, curving of space-time and time travel (or space travel?).

Object below the Planck constant is even more bizarre where we can’t even describe a thing as an object or an object with many “ject”, which exist simultaneously at many place (or even all the places?) at the same time. Matter can only be “point” at as wave equation showing its probability of existing there. There is an analogy, if you keep knocking your head on a wall, one day your head might go through the wall, and the chance of this happening will increase significantly if your head were smaller like a particle.

Why find a mate? Why feel satisfy after finding a mate?

We live in the world with a blurry state of mind, feeling desperately insecure.

Why find a mate?

So that you can say to your mate: “You are right”. Then your mate replies: “no, no you are even more accurate.”

Giving both of you a sense of security, in a world we know nothing for sure...
